Procedure of Assessment:

Application in prescribed form along with the following documents is to be submitted at Local office.

    1. Sanctioned building plan
    2. Current Tax clear receipt

Warrision Certificate

Procedure to get the Warrision Certificate:

  1. Application is to be made as desired, addressed to the Chairman, Rajpur-Sonarpur Municipality.
  2. Xerox copy of correct Death Certificate attested by Gazetted Officer / H.T of High School.
  3. Original Death Certificate is to be produced at the time of submission of application.
  4. Recommendation of concerned Councillor.

Cremation Certificate

If occurrence of death taken place outside the jurisdiction of this Municipality but dead body is burnt in Rajpur Burning Ghat, Rajpur,then,only Burning Ghat Certificate will be available from Sanitary Department, Harinavi.

Procedure to get Cremation Certificate:

  1. An applicant (either a close relative of the deceased person or a person duly authorized by the close relative) will have to produce relevant papers which have been obtained from Rajpur crematory at Sanitary Dept, Harinavi, Rajpur.
  2. After searching of the produced paper and satisfaction of the concern dept, the applicant will have to purchase or application form and submit the same to Sanitary Dept.
  3. Cost of application form is 50 paise each.
    Including Searching and Certificate fee for each certificate is `5 if the case is not more than one year old, `10 if the case is not more than five years old, `20  if the case is more than five years old respectively.

Burial ground Certificate

Procedure to get Burial ground Certificate:

Process is same as for Cremation Certificate and the Certificate will be available in municipal local offices only.

    1. Papers to be enclosed:
      1. Application for burial certificate either from a close relative of the deceased person or a person duly authorized by the close relative.
      2. Doctor’s certificate.
      3. Certificate from a recognised Moulobi of a nearest mosque.
      4. Recommendation of local councillor.

Birth / Death registration Certificate

This certrificate is issued by section 30 of the Registration of Birth and Deaths Act, 1969.

Procedure to get Birth / Death registration Certificate:

  1. If an occurence of death & birth takes place inside the jurisdiction of this municipality, it will be registerd according to information of the same given to the Sub-Registrars at municipal local offices.
  2.  If the information of such occurance is given to municipal Sub-Registrars after the expairy of the period of one year, the case will be registered only with the written permission of the Sub-Divisional officer, Baruipur, South 24 Pgs.
  3. Application form is available at all local offices and it is to be submitted to the Sub-Registrars.
  4. Papers to be enclosed: Photocopy of,
    1.  Doctor’s certificate
    2. Cremation Certificate (in case of death)
    3. Cost of application form is 50 paise. Fees as per West Bengal Birth / Death Rule, section 10.
